We couldn’t think of a better way to start this Monday morning than introducing you to one of our #SheBelongs Super-Hero’s.

A 🅢🅤🅡🅥🅘🅥🅞🅡 herself, when Ariel entered into the Shop for the very first meeting, she came in with confidence, commitment, and a clear mission:

•To use her professional gifts to change the lives of the women in the Styled with Strength Community

Since that meeting she’s represented SWS Clients in lease negotiations, Real Estate Sales, New Home BUILDS! (<—-so amazing!)

She’s instilled confidence in our community & has been a fierce advocate & voice for them in negotiations.

She’s rallied her squad to help prepare a home for listing, she’s at family dinner, and she’s connected women in our community with our services & loved them along the way.

While our work seems complicated, it’s actually quite simple. Use your gifts, your story, your h•e•a•r•t for others, making each survivor stand a little more confidently on her own 🤍

Survivors know the feeling••

Nikki Terras at Modern Hair Studio embodies this heart for others by the boat-load and brings it to life every week.

Since launching Styled with Strength Nikki has:

•Purchased regularly from Shop SWS (someone told me her holiday give-away was magic ✨)
•Hosted 2 full days of back-to-school hair cuts for SWS kiddos, making them feel seen, loved, and confident to start the next year! (So.many.haircuts!)

My TikTok feed has been filled with Zach Bryan and Brianna ChickenFry break up news the past few weeks•••

Despite minimal investment or passion regarding either individual previously;

there’s been a reoccurring statement that I keep coming back to when it comes to someone standing in their truth and disclosing someone’s abusive actions.

The truth is 🅘🅝🅒🅞🅝🅥🅔🅝🅘🅔🅝🅣.

•An inconvenient truth makes you say: “There’s two sides to every story.”
•An inconvenient truth makes you say: “It’s weird that she’s talking about it on a podcast.”
•An inconvenient truth makes you say: “I think he’s a puke, but I just like his music.”
•An inconvenient truth makes you say: “I mean I guess their relationship is none of my business anyways.”
•An inconvenient truth makes you try to find a reason for the harmful behavior towards a loved one. Whether it be previous military service, the loss of a loved one, or a trauma that went unrecognized.

But in the end:
•An individual turned down 12 million dollars to be able to speak her truth regarding a relationship
•An individual has a history of prior abuse and non disclosure agreements with previous partners (who were not able to decline a “generous” offer)

and while the truth may be inconvenient because his love songs are so sad and so damn catchy for our Instagram stories

The truth remains••• 🅣🅗🅔 🅣🅡🅤🅣🅗.

Be the friend that listens, that holds sacred space when someone discloses something that sounds like a dysfunctional relationship or a “toxic” pairing at best, as it 💯 is likely far more.

Be the person that pauses, when the topic of the trial that comes up at the breakroom and choose to create a safe space for your sister who might be fearful she could be experiencing something similar.

You can help us change future endings.
You can help to be the friend that honors.
You can be the boss that asks more questions.
